1956
The 3A Cooperative is Born
In the first decade after the war, Arborea became an important center, thanks to the development of agricultural and livestock cooperatives. In this context, the Arborea Assignees Cooperative, known as 3A, was founded.
1989
The New Production Chain: High Quality
The Cooperative focuses on supply chain control and certification, making quality its strength.
2000
Inauguration of the New Plant
The company inaugurates a new plant equipped with state-of-the-art technology and systems, enabling the processing and distribution of all products while always ensuring maximum quality.
2018
The Company Becomes a Group
The Cooperative expands by acquiring first the local Fattorie Girau, specializing in the sheep and goat sector, then the Tuscan Caplac and Trentinalatte.
2021
Latte Arborea Becomes a Benefit Corporation
In December 2021, the Cooperative changes its legal status to become a Benefit Corporation, incorporating into its bylaws five common benefit goals aimed at creating value not only for its members but for all its stakeholders.

Record revenue
In 2023, the Cooperative exceeded €230 million in revenue for the first time in its history, recording a 12% growth in the Peninsula market

Adoption of Tetra Pak
The Cooperative looks to the future, focusing on efficiency and modernity by introducing Tetra Pak packaging for milk.
1998
The New Slogan: "Arborea. Only from Sardinian Farms"
The Cooperative wants to convey its proudly Sardinian identity, starting with its graphic image and the new slogan.
2012
The Company Enters International Markets
In anticipation of its expansion into Asia, the Cooperative Arborea renews its image and adopts the slogan "The happy island of cows".
2020
Pandemic and Covid-19
The company faces a global pandemic by using all necessary preventive measures to ensure the survival of the entire production chain, receiving milk from its members daily and processing it into essential goods for the entire nation, recording an increase of 10 million euros in revenue compared to 2019.
2022
First Impact Report
The Cooperative reports its first document on social, environmental, and economic performance to ensure transparency for its stakeholders, in compliance with Law 208/2015.
