Description
Making cookies is simple and fun, allowing you to unleash your creativity by experimenting with different combinations and shapes.
An original twist on the traditional dough is to add savory cheeses like Gran Campidano and Sardinian Pecorino. These cookies make for unique appetizers or snacks that retain the crispness of traditional cookies but surprise you and your guests with their bold, salty flavor.

- 00 Flour 230 g
- Grated Gran Campidano Arborea 80 g
- Grated Fresh Pecorino Girau 80 g
- Arborea butter 150 g
- Arborea High Quality Fresh Milk 50 g
- Pepper q.b.
Instructions
Tip
- 1 Place the flour in a bowl and add the grated Gran Campidano and Pecorino. Add the cubed, room-temperature butter and mix well by hand, gradually adding the milk.
- 2 Once you’ve mixed everything together, you should have a firm, even dough. Shape it into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and let it rest in the fridge for a couple of hours. Then, flour your work surface and roll out the dough with a rolling pin, keeping it fairly thick.
- 3 Use a cookie cutter to shape your cookies and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle with a little pepper or decorate with sesame or poppy seeds. Bake at 180°C (356°F) for about 20 minutes. Let cool before serving.
