- Scaled sea bream 2000 g
- Arborea Gran Campidano 100 g
- Breadcrumbs 200 g
- Garlic q.b.
- Parsley q.b.
- Dried tomatoes q.b.
- Extra virgin olive oil q.b.
- Salt q.b.
- Pepper q.b.
Instructions
- 1 First, make sure your sea bream is properly cleaned: in addition to the scales, if they weren't removed when you bought it, cut off the fins and gills. Carefully remove all the innards as well: to do this, cut open the sea bream's belly with a knife, and if you prefer, use a latex glove.
- 2 Now prepare the gratin: in a bowl, combine salt, pepper, breadcrumbs, and grated Gran Campidano cheese. Crush the garlic with a garlic press or a knife and add it to the mixture. Finally, add the roughly chopped sun-dried tomatoes, along with the parsley and other herbs of your choice, and mix everything together quickly.
- 3 Take the freshly prepared gratin and insert a little into the belly of the sea bream. Now cover the surface of the fish as well, using a drizzle of olive oil.
- 4 Now that the sea bream is ready, place it in a suitably sized baking pan, possibly lined with parchment paper. Drizzle a little olive oil over both the bottom of the pan and the fish, but be careful not to overdo it to prevent the gratin from sliding off the surface. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 35-45 minutes, depending on how you like it cooked. Enjoy!
